This BBMP Elections over 16 Muslim Corporators have comeout Victorious in the 198 member Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike.While 12 winning corporators belong to Congress party, 3 are from Janata Dal Secular and one from SDPI(Socialist Democratic Party of India), in previous elections held in 2010 BBMP had  about 13 muslim corporators, while this is better and small improvement but still not adequate considering Bangalore has over 20% muslim population and an apt number would be 35 to 40 corporators.
